When we bring God's word directly into our praying, we are bringing God's power into our praying.
- Joni Eareckson Tada
"The truly blessed individual is described in Psalm 1: 'His delight is in the Law of the Lord, and in His Law he meditates day and night.' Godly people delight in the Word of God. They love it, they cherish, and they can't get enough of it. That is why they meditate on it day and night. It is their joy to contemplate God's truth. " - Gary E. Gilley

A key component in Spiritual growth is a relationship with God through prayer and the Word of God. GRASP 2021 highlights one verse a week each can read, hear, meditate upon, memorize and study. By all focusing on the same verse we grow individually and also in unity as the body of Christ.
Below is a schedule of the verses for the year of 2021. The theme is "The Believer's Life." To improve comprehension the verses are divided into four sections of learning related to the them. Also, at the end of each section is a review week. These verses will strengthen participants to lay claim to the victorious life, Christ intends believers to enjoy.
Pastor MH Parker, together with Assistant Pastors, Randall Hughes and Andrew Parker, publish insight, song and prayer in connection with each verse. Audio Podcasts are available online or you may view the video through the Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church YouTube channel (click on the buttons provided in middle column).
