SIMPLY, THE BIBLE

  • A Bible survey course from Genesis to Revelation.
  • To examine how God has worked over time, has dealt with mankind, their sins and providing them with hope through salvation.
  • To discover God's plan for you through His Word.

Soon to start again as a Sunday school elective class for adults.

When you receive the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Christ, God takes up residence in you (Galatians 4:6). You become His house.  You will find in God’s Word, the Bible, He has a plan for you to follow if you want to be His habitation (Ephesians 2:22).  When you dedicate your life to Him  you build your own life to be His house.  You do not build for your own liking, but according to the preferences of the one who will inhabit the house. You will need to follow His plan carefully.

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” Philippians 2:13 NLT

Ministry Builders exists to develop godly character, promote Christian habits, broaden the vision, boost soul-conscientiousness and sharpen ministry skills of members of Southern Oaks UPC with the purpose of winning souls, making disciples and leading this church to be an effective Light of the World until Jesus returns for His own.

"Where do most people go to learn leadership? The answer to that question today is that they search many places. Some examine the world of politics. Others seek models in the entertainment industry. Others look to the world of business. Most people seem to look to successful CEO's, management consultants, and theoreticians, with Ph.D's to learn about leadership.

But the truth is, the best source of leadership teaching today is the same as it has been for thousands of years. If you want to learn leadership, go to the greatest Book on leadership ever written-the Bible."

- John C. Maxwell, The Maxwell Leadership Bible, Introduction.
